"Sleek, clean, and plenty of caffeine" ... that is, if you consider marketing know-how and the ability to create cash-on-demand something that will keep you awake at nights.

I have been an active marketer for years, and seen and bought plenty of educational materials. Maverick Money Makers is probably the single best produced and most comprehensive of all the wealth-creation sites I have viewed. Some of this material is availble in other places ... but I've never seen so much integrated so simply into one cohesive and usable website.

Almost all of the training materials are video-based. This is both a strong point and weak point. The advantage of video is that it is a "can't miss" proposition .. when you look over MaverickMoneyMakers founder Mack Michaels shoulder as he takes you through each skillset training session step-by-step, it is almost impossible to go wrong.

The (small) downside is that many of the videos are l-o-n-g .... up to an hour or more. You certainly can't accuse Mack Michaels of not over-delivering. However, you do have to sit and watch the video to learn the cutting-edge techniques, so if patience is not your long suit, then this may not be for you.

On the other hand, Mack has a very clear and direct delivery style, and builds each of his presentations around a three-step model that makes it easy to remember what to do once you are finished. That is a definite plus.

Once of the negatives for most of the internet marketing training materials is that they are a single technique that much be accomplished in a certain way. The videos are VERY high quality, and unlike many online videos which sputter and grind to a halt, these are crystal clear and show steadily. No YouTube quality stuff here. In December over 30 hours of new video materials were added, and there appears to be at least that much coming in the January 2009 update.

I view internet marketing as an ongoing investment in education -- if for no other reason than the foundation of the internet shifts every 1-2 years. Techniques that used to work no longer work, or need updating. New techniques are created.
